Community Circle: Moral Obligations
Interested in learning how you can help create just conditions in our community?
Join our Community Capacity Building Circle Series to explore how community members can help meet the needs of people impacted by violence. Our September topic is: The Community’s Role and Moral Obligations.

Victim Support Coalition: October Meeting
The Hub invites local victim service providers for a monthly gathering to strengthen and amplify our efforts in addressing victimization and lingering justice needs in our community. Our coalition meetings will focus on:
Professional development: reflecting on our practices and ways to center safety, dignity, and belonging
Networking: connecting with other organizations and sharing upcoming events
Identifying gaps and coordinating efforts: working together to address the needs of our community
Dates: Second Wednesday of each month, beginning Oct. 8
Time: 10:00–11:45am

RJ Summit: Community Responses to Harm
Save the Date! Restorative Justice Summit: Community Responses to Harm
The Restorative Justice Collaborative Hub and The Beacon are co-organizing a Restorative Justice Summit for local practitioners on Thursday, November 20, 2025 during Restorative Justice Week. Held at the Community Learning Center at the St. Joseph County Public Library, this daylong event will bring together restorative justice practitioners, people with lived experiences, and other community stakeholders to work towards building responses to harm that help our community heal.
Our inaugural RJ Summit will feature:
Community-led workshops on innovative practices, policy recommendations, and lived experiences
Networking and resource-sharing with local community organizations
Keynote presentation by Father David Kelly, a leading RJ practitioner from Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation in Chicago, IL

Accompaniment Services Overview
Join us on Thursday, April 24 from 10 AM-12 PM to learn more about our accompaniment services for victims/survivors.
During this session, we’ll describe our work in more detail and briefly demonstrate how a facilitated dialogue might unfold.

Making Amends
Learn what meaningful accountability looks like and how to make amends. Ideal for those curious about or just starting their restorative justice journey and seasoned practitioners alike.

Circle Keeping Review Day
Review basic principles of circle keeping and tending, practice essential discernments, and troubleshoot circle-keeping challenges with other participants during this 1-day workshop. Participants must complete the 4-day Circle Process workshop before registering.

Denouncing Harm
Practice identifying and denouncing harm without causing additional harm. Ideal for those curious about or just starting their restorative justice journey and seasoned practitioners alike.

Reparative Chats 2 Day Workshop
Learn how to address harm quickly and informally to clean up small violations and get things back on track. This 2-day workshop gives you practice with honoring dignity (your own and others’) when you have been harmed and when you need to make amends.
Photography Disclaimer
The Restorative Justice Collaborative Hub may take photos of participants during program activities, workshops, and events for use in educational, news, or promotional materials, including but not limited to brochures, email newsletters, and websites. To protect the privacy of individuals, images will not include full names or other identifying information without written approval from the subject or their legal guardian. By participating in a Hub event, participants consent to such image recording, release, publication, and reproduction unless they have withheld permission when registering or have otherwise declined permission in writing.
Any person or organization not affiliated with the Hub may not use, copy, alter, or modify Hub photographs, graphics, videography, or other similar reproductions and recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from the Hub.
Refund Policy for Workshop Registrations with Fee
Cancellations: Should you wish to cancel your registration, you may request a refund for any reason up to 1 full day before the start of the workshop/training. Alternatively, you may request a full credit to transfer your registration toward a future training at no additional cost to you. Credits can only be transferred once.
Participant Substitutions: If you are unable to attend the training for any reason, you may transfer your registration to another participant at no extra cost, up to 1 day prior to the start of the training. No substitutions will be allowed once the training has commenced.
No-Shows or Missed Sessions: Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or missed days. Participants who do not attend all sessions of a training will not be able to complete the training. Should they wish to register for a future training to complete the missed sessions, they must enroll in, pay for, and attend the full training once again. Please read our training descriptions to ensure you can attend all days before registering.
Late Arrivals: The facilitators retain the right to begin on time and close admittance to participants more than 30 minutes late. Late arrivals without giving prior notice will not be admitted and will be considered no-shows ineligible for training completion and refunds.
Facilitator Cancellations: The Restorative Justice Collaborative Hub reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training sessions and workshops due to inclement weather, insufficient enrollment, and other unforeseeable circumstances. Participants will be notified of all postponements and cancellations via the email provided upon registration. In the event that a training is postponed or canceled, you may request a full refund or a credit to attend the rescheduled or future training of your choice.
