Hub Awarded $130,000 Accelerator Initiative Grant

We are excited to announce that the Hub is being awarded up to $130,000 for the Accelerator Initiative Planning Grant from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction.

The Accelerator Initiative aims to support small and grassroots organizations who are providing access to resources for mental health and wellness to communities in Indiana and is guided by the knowledge that grassroots organizations are more powerful when they are adequately resourced and creatively structured to sustain their work. Through this initiative, small organizations like the Hub and their leaders will be supported with access to resources and relationships designed to support growth in the ways the organization envisions.

The Hub looks forward to using this grant to further our mission of developing community-based accountability that supports survivors and helps people take responsibility. We are excited to work toward realizing our organization’s vision in cooperation with DMHA, and know that our work is ultimately sustained through the resilience and strength of the people that we serve every day. As one of our members stated, “Restorative justice is all about connection, about creating spaces where people can be real, where they can face hurt without judgment, and work toward making things right.” We are honored to be able to hold space for this healing and transformative work thanks to this impactful support.

Our work with Accelerator will begin in September of 2025 and continue through 2026.
